Walk-DVR-CF

Reliable video recording in vehicles at acceptable price?
The solution: Hybrid Video Storage System

wdvr kabellel

The device uses a notebook hard disk and two CF cards to store pictures.

With the built-in accelerometer and temperature sensor the hybrid storage system can guarantee reliable video recording even in vehicle applications. When the temperature or the vibration reaches dangerous value the device switches off the hard disk and continues the recording only on the CF cards. When the device has switched on the hard disk it will copy the content of the CF card to the hard disk at high speed.

EDGE GPRS MODEM

Wireless video surveillance with Walk-DVR

The GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) is a packet switched data transfer solution which is based on the GSM network. Due to the GPRS network you can transfer data across the mobile phone network. EDGE (EGPRS Enhanced GPRS) has higher data transmission rate than GPRS. EDGE can be used for any packet switched application, such as an Internet connection. The data transmission rate depends on the network accessibility and the network link quality. The GSM system allows the wireless video surveillance where there are not any LAN network.

The Walk-DVR has a built in class12 quad band GPRS / EDGE modem. Due to this modem the Walk-DVR can connect to the surveillance center. You can configure and observe your recorder and download live and archive videos from the Walk-DVR through the GPRS network.

LOCALIZATION IN THE WALK-DVR (GPS)

The GPS (Global Positioning System) is a global localization and navigation system. This satellite system works in 24 hours a day every where in the earth. The GPS system measuring is independent of the weather, the day period, the position above the sea level and the motion speed.
The Walk-DVR has a built in GPS receiver. Due to this receiver the recorder can define it's position and speed. The received GPS coordinates and speed data are stored in the actual recorded picture header. During the live or archive videos playback the GPS information can be shown in the picture. You can export the live or archive videos GPS coordinates to the GoogleMap from SCPlayer.
