stp logo The STP Technical Development Ltd, established in 1996, one of the most innovative security device developer and manufacturer companies in Central Europe

Our mission

Our company deals with the development and manufacturing of complex security systems. Our goal is to develop and manufacture high quality integrated security products using the latest microelectronic and computer technology available on the market.

The background

The STP Technical Development Ltd is owned by two senior engineers. This engineering point of view determine our present and our future. We are investing our profit into the expansion of developmental and manufacturing resources of STP Ltd.

The number of our customers increased significantly in the last years. There are two main reasons of this success. The first one is the high technical quality of our products. The second reason is STP's flexible, customer oriented development process.

In the last five years the increase of STP's annual revenue was 34%, and the number of our employees has increased by 300%.

We develop and manufacture security devices that meet the EU requirements. To maintain high quality and serve customer needs, our company got a certificate of ISO 9001:2001 quality control system that covers the development and manufacturing areas as well.

For managing the commercial, logistic and manufacturing processes in accordance with customer needs, we implemented the SAP system in 2005.

History

From 1996, our company develop and manufacture software and hardware elements of the StP access control system. This system can operate in case of remote buildings independently wether they have one door or thousands of access points.

In 1998, STP Ltd. started to develop a Time & Attendace software, which is necessary in almost every company today.

In 2000,we started to develop our new access controller with the following technical characteristics: 32bit/100MHz ARM CPU, 32Mbyte RAM, 10Mbit Ethernet, Linux-like real-time operating system.

In 2002, based on our successful access control system, we developed the SComplex. This equipment integrates the video recorder, the access control and the intruder alarm function into a single device. The three subsystems can be monitored on a single integrated software.

In 2003, we started to develop a new software, called Control Center, an integrated surveillance software. Using the Control Center software significantly simplifies the supervisory work.

In 2004, we announced the Walk-DVR, a small and powerful digital video recorder.

In 2005, we started to manufacture the Walk-DVR-CF, a video recorder specially designed for mobile applications. Its novel Hybrid Video Storage System combines the advantages of large capacity HDD-s and the environment resistant Flash-cards.

In 2007, we started to develop the LOGIPIX security camera. Our main goal was to produce a 9.1 megapixel security camera at the price of analog cameras. The key element of the LOGIPIX is the latest STP development, the MPX9 digital signal processor. The MPX9 can compress 5 FPS at full 3480 x 2600 resolution. Because of the MPX9’s multi resolution compression engine, the camera can send full-resolution stream to the recorder and low-resolution streams to the monitoring computers at the same time.

In 2008, we started to develop Network Video Recorder, specially designed for Logipix cameras.

In 2009, we developed the LOGIPIX 9.1 Day/Nigh security camera as well.

In 2009, we developed the LNVR-Hibrid interface designed for the purpose of extending the IP-based Logipix Video-recording Systems by analog cameras. Depending on its configuration, 8 or 16 analog cameras can be connected to it. The device can be a box- or rack-type. The task of storage device management is carried out by the Logipix NVR, which may contain 4, 8 or 20 HDD-s.

In 2010, we introduced our latest product, the Logipix SATA. Logipix SATA is a multi-megapixel security camera, which can record the images locally on a SATA hard drive. Therefore a small bandwidth network can be used for remote monitoring.

2011

STP Ltd. currently is developing a 15 megapixel security camera. This Logipix has a unique feature in its product class, the automatic backfocus module ensures the sharpest image over whole lifetime.
